oops!!! 500 dong = about $0.02. I like looking at the different currencies wherever I go and see the differences from country to country. Do you like receiving coins or are you someone who avoids them?

  1. I love those video! Very helpful! In going to VN in a few weeks for the first time and ead curious on how currency worked and how it's used. The change information hit the nail on the head for me. Subscribed!

  2. You said that There isn't a number 200 on Coins it Banknotes.BUT There is the smallest note is the 200₫ VND
    Greetings from Germany

  3. It’s fine if they round the money by 400 VND or 500 VND up . I think it absolutely not a big deal . You don’t have to tiered your self to pick up your stuffs to make round the payments. As you said sometimes It’s cost 5,200VND the owner could charge you 5000 only .
    For us 1000 , 500 , 200 are very small note . Like 0,0005 fills

  4. Was in the Viet Nam war…1967….had a ton of coins…which I took home…also..paper Dong and MPC…I am willing to give you a hand full if you take ur top off..( just saying )

  5. Hahaha. 1:44 I LOVE coins to look at and collect…..I CANNOT STAND FIGURING OUT HOW TO USE THEM IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY. Nice video. Thanks and keep travelling.

  6. In Vietnam There is the Smallest Note 200 Đống in circulation are:200,500,1000,2000,5000,10000,20000,50000,100000,200000,500000

  7. It's better not to carry the 500000 Dong along with the 20000 Dong in your pocket unless you are familiar with the currency in Vietnam. Charly is right about the mistaken or confusion between the two bills.
